What an educational night it was! Last night's event may have been one of the best attended events that we have had at JBMA! We send a huge thank you to all of the families that made it out to Parents’ Night on Thursday Evening. Our students took great pride demonstrating classroom jobs and presenting their recent work. Your presence was greatly appreciated. We hope you enjoy the pictures below!

Savayra, The Newest Bruno Bear

Big sister Suhanna, along with parents Sultan & Salima are excited to share with you the news of the arrival of Baby Savayra. She was born Monday, Jan 18th at 10:30pm, weighing 6.3 lbs. She is 20 and 1/2 inches tall. Baby and mommy are both doing well. We are so happy for Ms. Salima and her growing family! We all eagerly await her return to the classroom. 

Welcoming a New Substitute Teacher, Ms. Chelsea, to our Ranks

Happy Friday! We hope you and your families have a happy and safe Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

This week has been Ms. Salima's first week of maternity leave. Ms. Salima is at home resting and preparing for her newest family member.

As many of you know, Ms. Chelsea will be filling in for Ms. Salima for the next several weeks. Ms. Chelsea has a Masters Degree in Teaching Secondary Social Science. She will be teaching Cultural Studies as well as American Government and History. Chelsea has been enjoying her introduction to JBMA and looks forward to meeting all of you!
