There will be a meeting regarding our field trip to Space Camp. The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 3rd at 6:30 pm. At this meeting, we will discuss the details of the trip and distribute relevant forms. We hope you attend and that you enjoy this silly picture!

American Village at Montevallo

On Friday, the 12th, Upper Elementary took a field trip to the American Village in Montevallo. The American Village is an interactive educational institution whose mission is to strengthen and renew the foundations of American liberty and self-government. While there, students participated in a traditional line dance and viewed a historical reenactment that detailed the dramatic causes of the American Revolution.

Fencing in P.E.

In P.E. this week, we welcomed fencing instructors from The Birmingham Fencing Club. The students enjoyed themselves as they learned to spar.  The fencing instructors at the Club include Olympic medal winners and Chinese National Fencing Team coaches. The club has a free class the first Saturday of each month; if you are interested, go give it a try! (They also have classes for adults).
